Year 6: moving forward
still navigating through the covid-19 pandemic, our team of volunteers and supporters delivered our 2021 recipients curated graduation boxes for a second year in a row. leading up to glam day, our students also participated in multiple activities including a virtual paint party, self-care workshop, community service project, and block party.
Paint party
Our 2020 virtual paint party was such a hit, we decided to do it again! Led by our day 1 veteran Siana Treece, students received one on one creative instruction white creating their beautiful masterpieces. Also apart of the program was Micah Deering, and 2020 recipient that shared her experience transitioning into her first year of college and what being a hybrid college student really was like
In 2020, Project Beautiful–Inside and Out returned as our title sponsor!
With incredible support from our community partners and major sponsor, Project Beautiful, High School Glam Suite was able to pull off the biggest year to date. Due to the pandemic we pivoted to provide graduation boxes but we serviced more girls.
