High School Glam Suite to host The Largest Make-Up Tutorial Fundraiser

Top makeup artists across Detroit-Metro gather under one roof to provide makeup tips for charity
DETROIT - High School Glam Suite, a non profit dedicated to providing high school seniors the ultimate prom experience at no cost to them will host the largest make-up tutorial, a fundraiser to raise funds for programming for the 2019 recipients. On November 27, 2018 also known as Giving Tuesday at PAL Detroit located at 1680 Michigan Ave Detroit, MI 48216 from 6:00pm - 8:30pm guests will gather to learn make-up tricks by top makeup artists across the city.
“Every year, our board reached out to all of our networks to support our programming,” said Kori C. Fields, Founder of High School Glam Suite “This year we wanted to do a fun fundraiser that everyone can come out, enjoy and learn to glam up right before the holidays.” She continued.
Learning to glam up is exactly what the guests will do. Each makeup artist will be donating their time and have their own booth and each guest can walk around to their desired booth and learn a special makeup technique from them. Basic things like applying eyelashes properly to more advanced things like sculpting the perfect brow at home. In addition, there will be several raffles that include gift cards and makeup sessions.
For the past three years, High School Glam Suite has assisted over fifteen students. These young women have experienced some type of adversity such as loss of a parent, fire, and much more. Programming includes workshops on self-esteem, health and fitness, community service, and ends with the ultimate prom makeover experience. This experience includes a full day with professionals who volunteered to provide: custom designed dresses, luxurious hair extensions, accessories, prom shoes, hair and makeup, nail services, spa treatments, photography and catering throughout the day.

High School Glam Suite is an organization dedicated to nurturing both the inward and outward ideals of beauty and self-image for young high school aged women through workshops and mentorship programs. Each year High School Glam Suite assists deserving seniors at no cost to them prepare for their senior prom.
